YG Entertainment's "BabyMonster," considered the sister group of the popular K-pop girl group Blackpink, has reportedly achieved 300 million views on their music video in a record-breaking time for a K-pop girl group—a mere 186 days after its release.

While there are so many new girl and boy groups and their new songs that I haven't had a chance to listen to them properly yet, this news makes me want to give it a listen and share my own review.

YG's image took a hit after the Burning Sun scandal involving Seungri, but looking at the DNA running through the music of Big Bang, 2NE1, and Blackpink, I personally find their music very attractive.
